Products: T5XR and T5 Testimonials
The new T5XR and T5 Recumbent Cross Trainers deliver the same NuStep quality, ease of use and effectiveness, all while delivering new features and design improvements that offer life transforming exercise to more users. But don't take our word for it. Read the comments from some of the health and wellness professionals who had an opportunity to test our new products with their clients and patients.
"We love the product. We have been fans of the T4, and, boy oh boy, we absolutely love the T5. It's been an incredible addition to the program we have here. This is the thing that I like and our staff and members like - the fact that it has the walk-through. That has made it accessible to any size person, any person with any limitations.
"This has probably been the most versatile piece of equipment that we've had in our program. We use everything. Everything that the T5 has we use with different people. All of the features are great.
"I think that the creation of it has been very well researched and put together. It's very durable. It's one of the greatest inventions in the fitness industry as far as I'm concerned."

"I like it. The basic functionality is easy for them to adapt to. Getting in and out is easy. They like the settings that they can see visually, like the seat setting. I like that we can elevate the resistance. I like the heart rate capabilities so I can utilize that in my training with them. As a professional I like all the flexibility parts of it.
"We've got a lot more people actually wanting to try this, which is great. I love when I see that. So when we bring more equipment in and see them more quickly adapt and more quickly being interesting then that's really positive for us.
"We get all kinds of different profile residents, so a unit that's got a little more expansive capabilities really is positive for us.
"If we have somebody that's just getting discharged from a knee replacement or we've got somebody that's entirely wheelchair bound or we have even an amputee - a little broader spectrum like this says, 'Ah, we still have a piece of equipment that will work for you and you can feel comfortable on.'"

"We have found that our participants love the NuStep. They experience decreased joint pain and an increased level of cardiovascular conditioning. As a healthcare professional, I am able to see improvements not only in their fitness level but in their confidence and enjoyment of exercise. Many Structure House participants inquire about purchasing a NuStep for their home so they can continue their current exercise program.
"They thoroughly begin to enjoy exercise instead of looking at it as a chore. It's not challenging or overwhelming. Often when we put them on a treadmill, they're afraid of falling.
"The larger foot pedals seem to work well. Having people who have a wider stance when they sit down, it's much easier. We've had participants come through who are really tall; having that extra space has been beneficial. Overall it's much more comfortable for a larger size client."

"Members here love the NuStep. The members are enjoying it big time. It's easy, accessible, and it's also not as hard to manage as a full stride or anything like that. You've got your deconditioned, you've got your obese members that have an easier time using it.
"It's easy to use, the panel's big enough for them to see. You've got good handles that adjust. I think overall you've hit in all the good spots. When I see my obese people on there and they can use it, because they can't use anything else, that's good right there."
